Nanocpp is a comprehensive FDTD suite, written with state-of-the-art C++ techniques, for the ab-initio parallel simulations of Maxwell’s equations. It is designed to scale up to hundreds of thousands of processors, like BBMD. Some of the features of Nanocpp are:

  • 2D and 3D FDTD within a single interface
  • UPML
  • TFSF Plane wave + TFSF realistic Gaussian + Point sources
  • Far-Field computation with time-domain NTFF transformations
  • Energy and Poynting analysis
  • High level user interface with the possibility to combine several primitives
